Registration is now open to the Conservancy’s annual fall conference, held Oct. 10-14 in Madison, Wisconsin. An early-bird registration rate runs until June 30.

Entitled Preserving Wright’s Legacy in Wisconsin, it’s the Conservancy’s first Madison conference in 14 years. It will feature 20 speakers and tours of some 15 Wright-designed buildings. Education sessions will explore the multidimensional nature of Wright’s lifelong relationship to his home state, and efforts to safeguard his work there, with more than 20 speakers. Education sessions and evening events will be held at Monona Terrace.

Some 15 Wright-designed buildings will be toured, including rarely toured private houses, and houses by Wright apprentices and other architects (including Louis Sullivan, John Howe and Wes Peters) will also be included.

Special events include an opening reception at the Cesar Pelli-designed Madison Museum of Contemporary Art, our annual gathering of Wright homeowners and public site workers, an evening dinner and concert at Taliesin (limited capacity), and our annual silent auction, gala dinner and Wright Spirit Awards.
