Graduate students and young professionals are now invited to apply for the John G. Thorpe Young Professionals and Students Fellowship. The program was established in 2016 to honor John Garrett Thorpe, prominent restoration architect and longtime Conservancy board member. Young professionals in the first five years of their careers in architecture or historic preservation and graduate students in architecture or historic preservation (full-time or part-time) currently enrolled at the time of application are eligible to apply for a fellowship. Recipients will receive one regular general conference registration to attend the Conservancy’s annual conference. Two awards will be made in 2017, the second year of the program. Read about the experiences of the first fellows at our San Francisco conference here.

Download the application here. The deadline to apply for 2017 is July 15. Notification will be made by July 31. Tax-deductible donations to the Fellowship may be made online (indicate Thorpe Fellowship in donation notes).
