Graduate students and young professionals are now invited to apply for the John G. Thorpe Young Professionals and Students Fellowship. The program was established in 2016 to honor John Garrett Thorpe, prominent restoration architect and longtime Conservancy board member. Young professionals in the first five years of their careers in architecture or historic preservation and graduate students in architecture or historic preservation (full-time or part-time) currently enrolled at the time of application are eligible to apply for a fellowship. Recipients will receive one regular general conference registration to attend the Conservancy’s annual conference in Madison, Wisconsin, Oct. 10-14. Two or more awards will be made in 2018. Read about the experiences of the first fellows at our 2016 San Francisco conference and last year’s fellows at the New York conference.

Download the application here. The deadline to apply for 2018 is July 15. Notification will be made by July 31.

All information on the conference can be found here.

Tax-deductible donations to the Thorpe Fellowship may be made online (indicate Thorpe Fellowship in donation notes).
