I think it all printed but I had to do it section by section. I would really appreciate everyone's contributions, confirmations, corrections and details.

Bob Beharka claimed he did not supervise the two projects listed with Nils Schweitzer, just Lewellyn Wright, Marden and Fawcett. He did have minor roles from time to time with Walton.
Bob said he remembers Kenn Lockhart doing the Fawcett drawings.
I'll find out from Earl Nisbet what projects he worked on while at Taliesin, and he can fill me in with some others.

Walter Olds assisted with Walker supervision but was working at SOM full time, so it was on an as needed / when available type situation.

Thank you, I appreciate it.
Sadly, I did not source that entry of Austin H. when I found it. But Bob should know.
Would you be so good as to also ask Mr. Nisbet if I could contact him regarding perfs. I know from his book he continued to use perfs occasionally. Thanks again.

Reading that Cary Caraway supervised the 1940 "Show to end all shows" there is no mention but could be possible Caraway was to supervise the Usonian Exhibition House (1940-project). I will read further but memory does serve it was. I don't know the who did the drawings.

I'd forgotten that Tony Smith was an apprentice! Wright's work had a lasting influence on him. A history I've forgotten about looking into until now.

What a great list and project here. I'm looking forward to seeing how this fills in. Thanks.

It's an extremely minor, even insignificant project, but the Valley of the Sun Rose Bowl Float
drawings (5735.001) were apparently executed by John Ottenheimer, from a quick sketch by FLLW. This according to personal communication with John O.

The project was commissioned by the Phoenix Junior Chamber of Commerce for a parade whose theme was "Famous Firsts". Wright styled the float: Arizona .... "First in Sunshine".

I wouldn't have thought of the float except it's on page 476, one page beyond another project I've been researching ... in Taschen. Wright: 1943-59. Then too, I happened to see the float on (black and white) television.

Rood:

We had a thread on here that contained a picture of the Rose bowl Float. Sadly, the virtually useless search function has failed me once again. Perhaps someone (calling SDR!) with a better memory than me can sherlock us a link to it.

I recall reading an interview with an apprentice, possibly John Howe in Edgar Tafel's "About Wright", in which Davison was credited with the nighttime renderings (black paper) of the 1950's: Monona Terrace, Pittsburgh Point, Lenkurt Electric, among others.

FB: Thanks a lot, Kipta is on my copy so it must have got swallowed in the transfer. Christian is one of my case studies too....

DRN: yes, I listed those wonderful images too- wonder if the night drawings of the L_____ Lighting company are Davy's too?
It is easier to read my document because I embolden the buildings but it did not copy that unto the thread

To open the can of worms again: Wouldn’t this have been a proper effort for Mrs. Wright and the TAA after the mourning period... this and the archival storage and cataloguing of Taliesin holdings? Considering Paul Ringstom’s comment posted on the Wes Peters Pearl Palace last year:
Quote:
As with most architectural firms projects completed by Taliesin Associated Architects were credited to the senior partner W.Wes Peters. The actual work was done by others.

First Wright then Peters with Mrs. Wright’s signature. This is a sad custom and common in the visual arts also. Too bad, especially for an educational enterprise, I agree with this:

I start with the premise that the function of leadership is to produce more leaders, not more followers. Ralph Nader
