I brought this quote over to a new thread. In reference to the Turkel house:

This made me wonder which Usonians have been used in feature motion pictures (not Wright documentaries). I can only think of the Walker house in Carmel. The John Lautner Schaffer house, though not by Wright, from the film "A Single Man" comes to mind. |

The Gillen Residence in Dallas, TX was used quite prominently in a movie from the 1990's called "Bottle Rockets". |

| Oboler and Lautner's Wolff house both appeared in Twilight. Also the high-deco house Cedric Gibbons built for himself and Dolores del Rio. |

| Reidy, it wasn't Wolff in "Twilight," but one of the two similar houses built next to one another, Polin or Jacobsen, not sure which. Marco Wolff, Jr., a concert pianist, asked Lautner for a house in the FLW style, a 3-story tower with a cantilevered swimming pool in the hills north of La Cienega Blvd. |
