The only complication here might be that the architect was apparently not aware that a material substitution -- mahogany for redwood -- had been made, when the house was built. Surely this architect would have wanted to see any sub-structures or additions to the house executed in matching material ?

One is reminded of the problems associated with Constitutional Originalism -- for instance. What would Wright have done -- today ? It's difficult to say, yet one wants one's work to be relevant to present conditions, regardless of the contents of an antique recipe ?

The doghouse will be on display along with the screening of Romanza this week in Valdosta, Ga, April 14th at the Dosta playhouse, 7 PM, in Jacksonvile, Fl. April 15th at the Sun Ray cinema starting at 1 PM, and in Gainesville, Fl. April 17th at the Hippodrome, 7 PM.

Eddie's house and the related artifacts will be on display along with the screening of "Romanza", Sunday, April 29th in Denver, Co. at the Oriental Theater 7PM, the Roundhill Country Club in Alamo, Ca. on Thursday, May 3rd time TBA, and in San Rafael, Ca. Sunday, May 6th at the Rafael Theater 7PM.
Jim Berger will be in attendance at the San Rafael screening. Be sure to come and say hello.

Come and see Eddie's house this weekend at the Rafael Theater in San Rafael, before or after the screening of "Romanza", which plays at 4:15. Along with the doghouse will be on display the original correspondence between 12 year old Jim Berger and Mr. Wright, as well as the doghouse blueprints. Jim and Eric Berger, along with other Bay Area Wright building owners, will be in attendance. See you there.

In addition to displays at Unity Temple all day Friday, June 1st, and the FLW Home and Studio all day Saturday, June 2nd, the doghouse and related artifacts will be on display for a full week at Monona Terrace Sunday, June 3rd through Sunday June 10th.

Eddie's house will be on display at 3 new venues along with screenings of "Romanza". June 19th at the Alfa Art Museum in New Brunswick, N.J. at 6 PM, June 21st at the Montclair Art Museum in Montclair, N.J. 6 PM, and June 28th at the Currier Museum of Art in Manchester, N.H., call museum for show times.

Of course, Eddie's house will be on display at my 2 next screenings of "Romanza", Tuesday, July 31st at the Columbia Museum of Art in Columbia, S.C., 6:30 PM, and Sunday, August 5th at the Kennedy- Douglas Center for the Arts in Florence, Al., at 2:30 PM.
