The Wright Finder application for iOS is now available in the iTunes store.

This app fills a need where other FLW apps have come up short. That is to say, it will locate and list structures based on your current location. i.e. "Find the Frank Lloyd Wright works nearest me."

The Map tab will drop pins within a certain distance on a map centered on your current location.

Wright Finder gives you approximate drive times and the Route button does exactly what it says and opens suggested routes in the iOS Maps application.

Wright Finder offers no other information about the sites besides title, location data and a small preview image. While not exhaustive, there are over 300 listings as of this release.

My Wright Guide App also uses my current location and provides driving directions, but the mapping part is very weak. I may try this as a supplement. Does this one use Google maps? The main weakness of the Wright Guide App is the maps are lost once you loose signal.

what a great idea! I wish you tremendous success. I will recommend that my daughter add the app to her phone (I would do so, but I have a dumb phone).

Nice app. Mapping works nicely. May I make a minor complaint? I'd like to see the individual Ravine Bluffs houses listed separately . . . just in case I get lost and can't find my way home.

Can and will do. Next release will break those out. And the Galesburg houses. And whatever else we can improve on. Soon...
